Security of your Personal Information

To maintain the security of your information, we use the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol with 128-bit or higher encryption strength to transmit sensitive information. This is the same technology used in transmitting sensitive information by banks, governments, and online businesses such as Amazon.com and eBay. Once the information is in our system, it is accessible to authorized Zuma Technology personnel only. We strictly enforce our privacy policies with our employees and any breach of this policy will result in termination and the pressing of criminal charges where there are grounds.

How we use your Personal Information

Your personal information will be used in order to provide you with the requested products and services. This includes the use of information for completing transactions or communicating back to you. Credit card numbers are used only for payment processing and are not used for any other purpose. We may also use personal information in a manner that does not identify you specifically nor allow you to be contacted but does identify certain criteria about our Site’s users in general (such as we may inform third parties about the number of registered users, number of unique visitors, and the pages most frequently browsed).

Who we share your Personal Information with

We will NOT sell, trade or rent your name or personal information to anyone else. We DO NOT sell, trade, rent or provide outside access to our mailing list at all. Zuma Technology will not release your personal information to authorities unless required by law, search warrant, court order, subpoena, or fraud investigation.

Except as otherwise stated in this policy, Zuma Technology will share your information with third parties only to the extent necessary to provide the services and products requested by you. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Collection of your Personal Information

Zuma Technology only saves such personal information that is necessary for you to access and use our services. This personal information includes, but is not limited to, first and last name, email address, phone number, other payment processing information and document creation data. Zuma Technology will store such personal information until you delete that personal information through your “My Documents” or “My Account” pages on our site, you formally request its deletion or revoke your consent to its storage, or Zuma Technology otherwise deletes that personal information in accordance with its decisions or internal policies.

Document Preparation and Privacy of Information

The information you provide when you prepare a document on our website is held strictly confidential. For your protection provide a valid email address that will not block email from Zuma Technology. To change your password, you must use the email address associated with your account. We do not give out passwords over the phone.

Advertising

We partner with third party ad networks, such as Google Adwords and Bing Ads, to manage our advertising on other sites. Our Ad network partners use cookies and Web beacons to collect non-personally identifiable information about your activities on this and other Web sites to provide you targeted advertising based upon your interests. If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you targeted ads, you may opt-out by using the following links: Google’s Opt-outBing’s Opt-out, or the Network Advertising Initiative Opt-out page.

Please note that any opting-out will not opt you out of being served advertising. You will continue to receive generic ads.

Third Party Services

This site uses the Google Maps API and the terms of Google’s Privacy Policy are incorporated by reference into our Privacy Policy.

Our Site may use a website recording service which may record how you use our site such as mouse clicks, mouse movements, and page scrolling, but your personal data such as text inputted will not be collected by this service. Data collected by this service is used to improve the usability of our Site. The information collected is stored and is used for aggregated and statistical reporting and is not shared with anybody else. The website recording service is required to maintain the confidentiality of that information.

California Consumer Privacy Act Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice supplements the information contained in the Zuma Technology Privacy Policy and applies to visitors, users and others who reside in the State of California. Any terms defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) have the same meaning when used in this Privacy Notice.

Information We Collect

Zuma Technology collects information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or device (“personal information”). The information you enter when completing the forms on our website may fall into Category A, Category B and Category C below. You can delete that personal information at any time through your “My Documents” or “My Account” pages. Other than the information you enter into the forms on our website, in the last twelve (12) months we have collected personal information only from Category A, Category B and Category D below:

A. Identifiers A real name, Internet Protocol address, or email address.
B. Personal information categories listed in the California Customer Records statute (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)). A name, telephone number, or credit card number. Some personal information included in this category may overlap with other categories.
C. Protected classification characteristics under California or federal law. Age (40 years or older), marital status, medical condition, sex (including gender, pregnancy or childbirth and related medical conditions), or veteran or military status.
D. Internet or other similar network activity. Browsing history on our website, or information on a consumer’s interaction with our website.

 

Zuma Technology obtains personal information from the following categories of sources:

Directly from our users or their agents. For example, from the forms and payment information users complete on our website.

Directly and indirectly from activity on our website. For example, website usage details collected automatically.

Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

In the preceding twelve (12) months, Zuma Technology has not sold personal information or disclosed personal information to a third party for a business purpose. Zuma Technology will not sell your personal information to anyone.

Exercising Your Access, Data Portability and Deletion Rights

To exercise the access, data portability and deletion rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by either:

Only you or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.

You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The verifiable consumer request must:

Provide enough information for us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.

Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.

Response Timing and Format

We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. We will deliver our written response electronically or by mail, at your option.

Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request’s receipt. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.

Non-Discrimination

Zuma Technology will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not:

Deny you goods or services.

Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.

Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.

Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
